A fake stack of photographs made by Serge Maandag.

I made this by first stitching my images to create a so called Partial Panorama. After that I extracted snapshots from the panorama and gave them a bit of barrel distortion. I stacked the extracted images in individual layers and gave them a drop shadow.

The idea was to create the illusion of a stack of real photographs that almost seem to form a panorama together. The illusion would be stronger if I would have added some gloss to the individual images. Also I could have distorted the edges of the images somewhat. But basically the effect is there.
