- Yes, that's true and known, and the link doesn't even show the best technique. However, this is not a single projection but a mixture of several ones where you must manually select what should stay straight. The bending occurs, but not in the (selected) straight lines. It occurs in the angles f.e. and in the featureless areas of course. But perhaps we should be clearer here. --Erik Krause 16:09, 21 July 2009 (UTC)
