This page needs to be renamed as there is a free wxwidgets based viewer called panoviewer already. -- Bruno

Ok did that -- Bruno

abandoned software?

the external link doesn't work anymore, http://www.allfreegroup.com/pano/ redirects to a new domain and the article Panorama Viewers says that panoviewer is an Open Source stand-alone viewer now superceded by panoglview (Windows, Linux). Is there some more information available for this software or is it better to delete the article? --Carl 17:02, 30 September 2007 (CEST)

What's even worse: Panoviewer is both an article and also a redirect to another article! --Carl 17:14, 30 September 2007 (CEST)

Not commercial software

The Immervision viewing tools are not commercial. I am going to change that and add the different possibilities. --Cahe 9:30, 20 August 2008 (EST)

Aren't the Immervision tools commercial?

You have to own and use their products to be able to use the player. --Patrick 7:18, 20 August 2008 (PST)

Actually you can use Immervision player without their tools. It's quite simple once you know the XML structure. But I actually don't know whether you can get all the relevant information for free. I must admit, that I learned how to create the XML only after having used the tools.--Erik Krause 20:46, 20 August 2008 (CEST)
