new Glossary template

The glossary entries are now created automatically. Any member of the Glossary category now automatically get a link here in the appropriate alphabetical section. The short description must be entered into a template call on the respective description page. This template call has two forms - in this one the Short descriptive text is not displayed on the respective page:

{{Glossary|Short descriptive text}}

'Short descriptive text' must be replaced by a short (one sentence) definition of the respective word. If you want the short descriptive text displayed on the page as well, you can use:

{{Glossary|Short descriptive text|1}}

Both are calls to Template:Glossary and both add

[[Category:Glossary]]

automatically, there is no need to specify it on the page explicitly. --Erik Krause 23:14, 18 November 2007 (CET)

If you want to use a redirection page in the glossary (f.e. the TCA glossary entry is a redirection page to Chromatic aberration#TCA) please specify

[[Category:Glossary]]

below #REDIRECT. In this case the glossary entry from the redirection target will be used.--Erik Krause 20:40, 22 November 2007 (CET)
