Trying to build pano12 on Vista. I had to copy some .manifest files in the /bin directory to grant permission to run /bin/install.
The ./configure for libpano gets stuck with this error:

the jpeg library must be installed on your system 
but configure could not find it. 

I can't figure out what is wrong .. Anyone an idea?
