Thinking about recategorisation, I'd like to delete these categories:

  • Category:Software - It's easier to remove this category from 24 pages than add it to the 100 pages that otherwise need it.
  • Category:Software:Platform - Doesn't contribute anything interesting. Might as well delete Mac OS X and Windows too.

Looking at the uncategorised pages, some new categories would make sense:

  • Category:People - In fact the People page can be replaced by a category as can all the pages linked-to on People.

...and categories for hardware such as:

  • Category:Hardware:Panoheads - Actually pages like Hardware and Heads need merging and splitting.
  • Category:Hardware:Tripods
  • Category:Hardware:Lenses:Fisheyes
  • etc...
