There are currently two autopano programs:

- Autopano-SIFT - by Sebastian Nowozin. Works with Hugin, own GUI and stand alone. See his page for details: http://user.cs.tu-berlin.de/~nowozin/autopano-sift/
Both versions automatically identify control points.
