You will receive an email with further instructions. Once you went through this process your user name and password is sufficient to edit pages.

If you had a user page on the wiki prior to the migration but you don't have an account anymore you can retrieve the user page if you create the account with exactly the same user name you used previously. See [[Special%3AAllpages%26namespace=2%26from=|user pages]] for the current pages.
